Silent Witness star Amanda Burton, 65, gets her FIRST tattoo

Tattoos are often a symbol of reckless youth, but it looks like at 65, Amanda Burton could join Dame Judi Dench and David Dimbleby, who decided to get tattooed later in life.

The Silent Witness star was spotted leaving the Old Town Tattoo shop in Hastings earlier last month with a piece of paper in hand, which could perhaps have been a design for an inking.

The actress looked in good spirits as she left the studio with much of her body covered in casual attire, so as not to reveal where she had her debut inked.

Amanda donned a blue and white striped shirt under a navy casual jacket, which she paired with brown shorts and black shoes.

She pulled her blonde locks back into a loose hairstyle, while highlighting her features with a light palette of makeup.

The TV personality apparently had a busy day running errands around the South Shore while pulling out a shopping bag from the tattoo parlor, which was later seen filled with groceries and flowers.

Amanda’s tattoo follows in the footsteps of another actress getting tattooed in her later years, with Dame Judi Dench getting her first tattoo for her 81st birthday.
