Jennifer Aniston addressed her divorce from Brad Pitt on the final episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, as the couple recalled in their first interview in 2003.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show came to an end today after nineteen years, nineteen seasons, and over three thousand episodes.

Ellen DeGeneres got emotional during the latest episode of her talk show on Thursday, which also featured Billie Eilish and P!nk.

Jennifer’s inclusion is a fitting tribute after the Friends actress was the first guest on the show when it first hit screens in 2003.

The finale, which marks the 20th time Jennifer has appeared on the NBC studio, saw her discuss her divorce and decision to enter therapy after Friends came to an end.

Jennifer, decked out in rings from BaubleBar paired with a jumpsuit from Et Ochs and sandals from Saint Laurent, sat down with Ellen after the pair shared a long hug, asking, “Where are 19 years going? I don’t understand.”

Looking back, Ellen asked, “What do you remember? I vividly remember you were on the first show.”

She continued, “I want to talk about the end of Friends, what did you do to deal with it?”

Speaking candidly, Jennifer said: “Well, I got divorced and went to therapy.

“Then I did a movie called The Break Up. I just leaned towards the end. Let’s make this a whole new chapter. Finish everything and start. And it worked very well.”

Jennifer then directed the questions at Ellen, asking her if she knows what she wants to do next now that her long-running show has come to an end.

Ellen responded, “I want to lay low for a while. I want to rest and then I will do something again, but I don’t know what it is.”

For the past two decades, the 64-year-old talk show host has interviewed the world’s most famous people and entertained millions around the world with her humorous skits.

In recent weeks, he has chatted with Oprah Winfrey, Mila Kunis, Justin Timberlake, Zac Efron and Bruno Mars.

Earlier on the last show, Ellen was left in awe as she walked into the NBC studio for her final dance with Stephen “tWitch” Boss on the daytime show.

As she walked in, Ellen fought back tears as the audience cheered and the facts of the show’s conclusion seemed to pack a punch.

She told fans as her voice thickened with emotion, “This show has changed my life forever. It is the best experience I have ever had.”

Your show went down fire in 2020, when allegations of a toxic work environment on set came to light, and Ellen herself was allegedly at the center of some complaints about her “bad” behavior.

A BuzzFeed report included current and former employees who complained of alleged behind-the-scenes harassment, prompting an internal investigation of the show by Warner Bros.

The findings indicated “some failings in the day-to-day running of the show” and in September 2020, Ellen herself apologized for things “that never should have happened.”

In May of last year, the star announced that The Ellen DeGeneres Show would end in 2021, after its 19th season concludes.
