James Bond movie collection will leave Prime Video in June

The streaming service confirmed that the entire 25-film collection would be available to stream for a limited time only in April, and now it seems that time has run out.

Almost all James Bond movies will now leave Prime Video in June 14thwith the exception of Daniel Craig’s final performance as Bond in no time to die.

The move to stream the entire collection exclusively on the platform happened after Amazon bought Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) for $8.45 billion in 2021.

Since April 15, fans have been able to revisit some of the franchise’s classics, including Casino Royale, Goldfinger, Thunderball, Y Diamonds are forever but only for a limited time. While the franchise could return to the streaming platform in the future, nothing has been confirmed yet.

After nearly 60 years of movies, the suave English spy has a distinctive personality and it’s one that Bond screenwriter John Logan worried he’d miss out when MGM was acquired by the corporate giant.

The most recent escapade saw Daniel Craig’s Bond finally meet his death, which left fans divided. However, he has also opened up the opportunity to reinvent the long-running franchise with not only a new incoming bonusbut a new direction for movies also.
