But after all the performances, it was the impressionist Ben Nickless and the musical duo Flintz and Taylor, who quickly made it to the semi-final with Alesha Dixon’s golden buzzer, who made it to the BGT final.

They will be joined by busker Maxwell Thorpe and 13-year-old ventriloquist Jamie Leahey for one last performance in a bid to win £250,000, as well as a place in this year’s Royal Variety Performance.

And it was Simon Cowell who got the blame after choosing the musical duet over the dancing dogs. @RedknapLisa said: “I can’t forgive you for that Simon. Yeah the boys are good but come on. As a collie owner the work and commitment it takes to train a dog is very smart and happy. Different kind .Very disappointed for you… #BGT.”

Amber and her beautiful dogs totally deserved the thumbs up! Simon’s lame excuse that he should have kept a dog when for years he has said more is better… say A word to yourself mate!”

Amber, 25, performed an incredible pirate-themed dance routine alongside her two border collies, Nymeria and Ruby. They performed to the tune of Pirates of the Caribbean as the two dogs wowed the crowd, the judges and those watching at home with their tricks.
