Busy Philipps’ impending divorce appears to be kind as the Dawson’s Creek star was spotted out with her ex Marc Silverstein on Monday.
The 42-year-old had a light lunch at celebrity hotspot Via Carota in New York just days after the former couple announced they were ending their 14-year marriage.
Philipps shared the news of their split on Friday on his Busy Philipps Is Doing Her Best podcast, explaining that the divorce has been a long time coming.

You wouldn’t know a divorce was coming from the way Busy and Marc looked this week over a bite to eat.
Busy wore a long ocher and cream gingham dress with white sneakers that she paired with oversized square sunglasses.
The Girls 5Eva star had her trademark blonde locks pulled up into a high messy bun as she walked alongside her ex-spouse.
Marc sported his usual scruffy salt and pepper beard with a t-shirt and shorts.

There was no handshake or PDA, but there was also no visible drama or animosity from the pair who ‘quietly’ ended things a while ago.
“It’s been a long time since Marc and I have been apart and our kids know it, our families know it, our friends know it,” Busy revealed on his podcast.
Busy explained that the couple first broke up in February 2021 and had been contemplating how to share the news publicly.
She said: ‘Marc and I talked about it, and when we first broke up, we couldn’t even think of publishing one of those statements; she made us both really sick. it’s a trip
“The safest way Marc and I were able to ensure the privacy of our children that we love so much was not to involve the public.”
“It’s been a long time since Marc and I have been apart and our kids know it, our families know it, our friends know it,” Busy revealed on his podcast on Friday.
The former couple have two children, Birdie, 13, and Cricket, eight, as the actress said, there is still a lot of love and respect between the two and that they are blessed to share children together.
She concluded: ‘Well, we love each other, a lot! And we have these beautiful children together. And there are many things that really work in our relationship.
Busy and Marc married in June 2007 in a ceremony that came as a surprise to their friends and family.
In 2018, the Cougar Town actress revealed in her memoir that her best friend Michelle Williams had pulled her back from the brink of divorcing her husband after having an “emotional affair” with another parent.
Busy confessed in her book, This Will Only Hurt a Little, that her relationship with Marc had been on a rough patch since their first child was born, leading her to seek comfort and support from someone else.
She wrote: ‘There was a man I was friends with, another father. We had been having lunch and stuff. Send text messages. Talk a lot on the phone.
‘Honestly, I was in love with him. I like him. Maybe even loved him? Clearly he liked me too.
The actress wrote that she had felt “unsupported” by her screenwriter husband, even calling him “useless” and claiming he “didn’t even try” to hold Birdie when she was born.
