The 51-year-old judge admitted to being “disappointed” after the act, which previously impressed the judgeshe used dark water to perform his trick, leaving everyone unable to see what was going on.
Delivering her comments, Amanda said: “Well, there’s a lot of work and this is dangerous, but I have to say I was disappointed tonight.
“I feel like at his first audition we were on the edge of our seats, I felt like it was a lot more intense and I think tonight because of the darkness and everything else, we were left wondering if there was less danger and more deception in that tank.”

To which his co-judge, Simon Cowell, was shocked by his comments as he defended Andrew, exclaiming, “Hoax?! Like what?”
OKAY! has contacted Britain’s Got Talent for comment.
During Escapist Andrew’s performance, he was locked in a shark cage before being submerged in the water where he had to free himself.
However, at one point during the act, the water in the tank turned dark and the spectators, judges, and audience were unable to see what was happening.
Observers of the show were left confused by the error, as they noted that they were unable to see the escapist escape.
One person said: “What’s the point of this act if we can’t see it? #bgt #BritainsGotTalent.”
A different account wrote: “What’s the point if we can’t see? Now we’re looking at a #bgt watch.”
Another follower wrote: “Now we can’t see it…great #bgt.”
While a different fan added: “If he wanted darkness he could have put a blindfold on and let everyone see what was going on in the tank! #BGT.”
However, other viewers were quick to respond, praising Andrew for his “absolutely epic” stunt.
One person said: “Well done Andrew, it was absolutely epic and intense and I was on the edge of my seat! #BGT.”
A different account posted: “That was brilliant from Andrew #BGT” with a star eye emoji.
While another viewer added: “@BGT Andrew this was epic! I was so nervous for him I was on the edge of my seat! #BGT.”
It’s been an eventful week for the live semi-finals and Monday’s episode saw a shout Amanda running away from the studio during the terrifying audition for The Witch.
During the show, The Witch, who was then sent homeasked judges Amanda, Simon, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams to choose a message in each frame that had a “premonition” and conjured up their “deepest, darkest fears”.

After taking out a series of messages, the last note saying “rodent” when Amanda was asked to pick up the box, opening it to find an actual rat on the judging panel.
Screaming at the revelation, Amanda fled the studio with Alesha as The Witch picked up the animal and began chasing Amanda, saying, “What’s wrong, Amanda? The rat got your tongue!”
