Cardiff City and Swansea City, like most Championship clubs, will be shopping in the bargain aisle this summer.
Neither club will have much money to spend recruiting new players, and loan moves and free agents are likely to be the order of the day. Both South Wales clubs have a number of areas within their squads that need to be addressed. The Bluebirds have been quick with four new players through the door at Cardiff City Stadium, while Swansea will likely have to send players before new ones arrive.
At this time of year, clubs publish their withheld rosters for the upcoming season; most have, but four remain to be done, including Cardiff, with Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest yet to meet in the Championship play-off final next Sunday.
